Dr Herman Mahmoud

Research Fellow

Herman Mahmoud is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Water Systems, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Exeter. Herman graduated at the University of Dohuk in 2010 with MSc degree in Water Resources Engineering, and obtained his PhD in Engineering at the University of Exeter. His PhD thesis presented a novel real-time methodology for efficient and effective operational, short time response to an unplanned failure event in a WDS. His general research interests include real-time management in smart water systems, asset management in water systems, water resources management, decision support systems in water systems, water systems optimization, and hydraulic structures.
